Conscious of your need to lose weight? Afraid that ice cream is going to get the better of you? If you can't resist, then make the right choice: opt for sorbet over ice cream. Sorbet is water, sugar and fruit pulp. Unlike ice creams, they don't contain fat. And if you can, go for organic products - with natural flavours. Note that it's entirely possible for you to make your own sorbets! This is a really fun thing to do with friends and family! If you do, don't forget to replace the traditional sugar that you find in all sorbet recipes with a sweetener (if possible natural). Pineapple, apple or lemon sorbets are less calorific than those made with banana or pear. Make the right decisions! Consume in moderation - in other words, avoid overeating... even if it's just sorbet!
