Did you know that eating dishes or desserts that are a little richer and calorific than recommended is not necessarily negative when you're on a diet? We are not programmed to deprive ourselves of everything. If you start a super-strict weight loss programme, don't make the mistake of removing everything from your diet. If you do so, you run the risk of going out of control either in the medium or long term. So, give yourself a break once a week... and pick a treat! The following day, do a longer sports session, a nice morning jog for example. This means you won't ruin all that hard work... quite the opposite, in fact! When you want to lose weight or maintain your weight, the most important thing is to keep control over what you eat and ensure you eat a balanced diet. Obviously, if you fancy pancakes with chocolate, banana and coconut every day, it's going to get a little complicated...
